SON PLEASE GET IT ON A HOUSE! Can you get a decent house there for 250k and finance the rest? Then you can get another car alot easier if you have a house.

Just outright buying a house probably isn't the best thing to do. It's like putting all your eggs in one basket. If I were him I would just spread themoney in a bunch of long term investments, and forget I ever had the money. 20-25k on a car is reasonable though
