I always thought these dudes had lyrics for days, but damn them Neptune beats just didn't cut it for me, they needed some straight guttah to match theirstyle, I think they would dominate over southern beats

Hell Hath No Fury had awful production. They can work well with the Neptunes sound like they did with Lord Willin' but I would like to hear them over adifferent variety of tracks like they do with their mixtapes. DEY KNOW YAYO!!!

maybe they should just retire... or actually rap about somethin other than crack...
sometimes I wonder how many songs/albums/mixtapes they can make about the same topic

Yeah you right on the time, but this is like the crack era..... everybody raps about crack or ballin or that stupid word swag

I'd love to see the Clipse do a concept album talking about something other than drugs...

Wasnt there biggest only hit produced by the Neptunes?

I can see them causing chaos over some dark Danja tracks or yea like u said some dark southern tracks but I think there ego wont let them do it they are tryingto go for that east coast sound

This just makes me wonder is it the rapper or producer. I remeber when young wan was signed to Swiss beats label man that album SUCKEDDDDD Swiss put dude onsome east coast beats man that #%% did not mix

Yea I feel what you saying it is the producers sometimes like I feel like Pusha T especially raps from the heart and when you got rappers likethat you need more orchestration not congo loops etc. Like thats why TIP and Toomp blend well TIp be rappin from his soul sometimes and u got Brass andstrings in the background progressing making him sound bigger than life. Where alot of rappers rap from their brains which sounds dope over samples or loopsi.e. a Nas. Its up to the producer to realize what goes together and what doesnt.

I might be over analyzing but I dig this music stuff

To get the the Star Trek symbol, you have to get like 3-4 beats done by them. So that leaves 12-15 other tracks and sounds you could go for. They should steptheir listening/A&R management game up , go out and find new heat makers

NT never places any of the blame on the artist I have noticed

Definitely didn't hold them back. More like put them on the map.

I'm a fan of Clipse x Neptunes collaborations

This new album should be one of their best efforts.

Clipse over other producers original beats - Check
Classic Neptunes/Clipse Collabo - Check

Best of both worlds.

Win/Win in my opinion.

Uhh....no.

The Clipse and the Neptunes sounds are synonymous with each other.

I'd love to see the Clipse do a concept album talking about something other than drugs...
For what? If ain't broke don't fix it. ++%+*% is always talking about wanting them to be more well rounded and talk about otherstuff...why? That's what they do...it's their bread and butter. Top shelf braggodocio, arrogant yet dark coke raps. What you see is what you get.

hell hath no fury was awful.......................i dont care how ill they spit. them tracks was not hittin.

People either love or hate HHNF. You'll see it mentioned as flawless one place and trash the next. It happens to be one of the few albums released in thepast few years that I can play straight through without skipping.

I see what you are saying, but if we could get a whole album of "I'm Not You"-type songs I wouldn't be mad at all. Granted, thedrug references are still there but it was on some other stuff...

Neptunes carried Lord Willin'

and I thought the approach to Hell Hath No Fury was great, just a few too many misses

but I don't have any faith in their beat selecting ability. Wouldn't be suprised if RTTCD has a bunch of Storch & Cool & Dre beats.
