Official New Balance Thread *sizing info for different models on first page*

so i ordered the 997 again from sports zone elite last night, since i couldn't find the 997 for retail anywhere else, and this time they have already shipped my order lol. Guess they really do want get rid of them...
 
I saw that some clean colorways of the 999 elites are coming out in the spring, I never owned a pair of 999s before, does the paint crack and chip on all 999s ?

I've had a couple of 999s for a year or so and no cracking . I dont run or exercise in mine. Just casual wears

Ok good to know because I didn't want to cop all 3 pairs coming out this April and have paint chipping like some people said about the 999s after just a few wears a la jordan 3s lol
 
are the 997 laces the same as 990's? got a replacement set from NB UK but they are for the 577 it appears (same width). New Balance USA have 990 replacement laces so just wandering if they are the same
 
anyone else notice the boxes on page 6 of the sneakernews article? M998 TN2 box is labeled as seconds...any reports that these were at the outlets??

i bought these j.crew ones from j.crew website to only have days later tell me they didnt have any more in stock ahhh but might give his a shot
 
NB 574 Sonic and Clarity. I really don't care for 574s but these are decent. not so much the color but the build and design

check my sig, there's a sizing chart, though it doesn't compare to other models, it should still give you a good idea. Depending on your feet, if you are narrow, I'd go TTS from nike size on 1600s and 998s, if not, I'd consider going up to 0.5 on the 1600s and "maybe" the 998s, not entirely sure. Best bet is to go to a Jcrew and see if they have any 998s you can try on.

Wow, this picture makes them look 10x better! The official pic on J Crew makes the colors look awkward.
