Here are my observations:

The N on left foot in the second picture looks totally wonky. The stitching, also, is all over the place.  

The heel on both shoes look rounded rather than V-shape. I checked the pairs I own and none look like that.

The maroon box has a check underneath the size rather than a scratch off like I've seen on most other reviews.

Am I buggin' out here?

Anyone know about the reshaping method peeps have been doing to slim down their NB's? Curious as to why peeps just don't buy a different silhouette.
 
What's the release date of the 997 navy? I know a few spots had them but weren't they supposed to release more pairs at some point?
 
Alright I know with Asian made 577s it's a half size but for the joe Louis's should I got a full size since it's leather? Also any one know about these 574s NB.com is dropping?

I've tried on the Joe Louis 577s and would recommend going a full size down. I wear a 10 (down sized .5) in all us and uk made NBs but I would get a 9.5 in the Joe Louis Burn Rubber 577s. Hope this helps..
 
OK got these but there is one problem, they are about a half size too big. I have been reading about options and which one would be more beneficial for a snug fit?

Any one have the same problem?

Heel Grips or Gel inserts?

Yep, some thin inserts will help. I do this with most shoes that seem slightly too big if sizing down isn't an option. I just get a cheap thin flat pair and put them under the original insole.
