Official New Balance Thread *sizing info for different models on first page*

IMO the only thing special about that WestNYC 530 is the insole.  It's a nice color way, but it is pretty standard fare.  When I think collab, I think premium materials or special design/patterns.  Nothing about that shoe justifies a $60 markup from the normal GR.  Would much rather have the tonal suede ones that came out a couple of weeks ago.
 
Not feeling them either. Model is just ok and the colorway is nice, but I think they OD'd on the infrared color. Not bad, but I won't be going after them.
 
I love em, but i think the 160 price tag is a little unjustified as well. A US made NB can be had at that price, and i'd much rather have those. I'll likely pass on these.

Definitely looks like a 496 to me! I'm a fan of the colorblocking, the rope laces? Not so much, but I imagine it will come with other ones. I feel like clean white laces would make these perfect.

Also, the HOCR is next weekend, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a teaser this Sunday, and they were released next Saturday. I'll have to decide between these and the West NYC 530s...
 
Happy to see a 1700 surface again, although I feel like they almost never get the shape quite close enough to OG now when they drop these as a collab. I'll have to see these in person to really decide but I like the clean and simple colorway.

I agree this sucks.  Pretty much the worst thing they could have done to a 997.
 
I could do without the croc on the ankle, but the shoes are still a 10/10.

Laughing at you guys with the "I AIN'T GONNA BE CAUGHT DEAD IN NO SISSY BOY PINK SHOES FAM. MATTER FACT, LEMME GET MY TALL TEE OUT THE ATTIC. STARTING TO FEEL TOO METRO." attitude.

Both CNCPTS, 496 and 997, are ill.

As of now its looking like

Stan Smith on the 18th..
997s to follow on the 1st (from what i've heard--corresponding with the NY opening).
496 may fall in between or after the 997s and Stan Smith release.. not exactly sure..
