Official New Balance Thread *sizing info for different models on first page*

So what's going on at the NY location. There were 100 heads at Concepts Cambrdge tonight for their bracelets. Not as many as I expected, but still cold and a three hour process
damn, 3 hours? haha. that's why I never actually go get bracelets even though I'm 45 min away. rather take my chances online..

Possibly a good sign? I swear folks are in their feels about this price under their last NB pic

Yea I'm on there, not in a good position though. Need a few hrs of sleep and ima go back there

People complaining about the price why ? The 997 is an expensive shoe as it is so it isn't much over. Consider the West NY collab that was like $60 over what a 580 GR draws anyhow I'm buying

People who complain about price are people who don't regularly buy NB, simple as that.

Not saying there's anything wrong but if you know anything remotely about the 997, you would know that $235 actually isn't that bad

I still say the online price is higher than in store once they put them up lol :nerd:

I honestly think there is going to be a ton of these available at the Cambridge location. I'm not trying to drive down hype or anything. I was working so i couldn't grab a bracelet today so I think I am just driving down around 6am so I can find a decent parking spot and just wait the 2 hours for them. I hope the line goes smoothly since I need to be back at work by 11am. I'm sure the New York location will be a whole other experience though!! Will problaby get ruthless down there around 5am so peeps can get a good spot for the bracelets.

Help me out here. Will these 997s be released internationally ?
I mean, looking back, the C-Notes were released internationally whereas the Tannerys were only available at Concepts.

It has been confirmed by both concepts workers and new balance that they are exclusive to concepts

Who cares about 225$ or 235$ ... the 70$ shipping to Europe is what upsets me! ... + customs 19% :-(

New balance I believe but cncpts, never! They lie about everything.

Hopefully that's enough for us all

Is there some possibility that these end up like the Pistachios ? At first Concepts said that the Pistachios were Concepts-only and everybody scrambled, naturally, to buy from the shop. Subsequently, they dropped in many shops in Europe and Asia.

Also, notice that there's a retail NB box placed inside the Concepts box. This must mean a regular retail version does exist. Does this indicate that other retailers might also get these ?

Were you aware that BOTH Pistachios and Embers were available at many shops in Europe and Asia ?
I think when they say Concpts exclusive they just mean in the U.S. The last few NB releases have all sold Overseas in limited quantities.

Pistachios were not

Ok. then you were not aware I guess.
I bought my Pistachios at a regular Asics retailer in Singapore. It wasn't even a well known boutique.
They were also available in the Australia and in quite a few shops in Europe.
They came in a non-Concepts box - just a regular Asics box. If you like I can post some pics.

Which shops in Europe and Australia?

The Tannery Mints were the only one that was Concepts exclusive.
At first the C-notes were advertised to be Concepts exclusive - but they made their way internationally.
