second this, dudes be so blinded by collabs but that's just good marketing (kudos to Concepts)
 
Never understood why you have to co ordinate or match what you wear... With sneakers and spending hundreds on then, surely that is the focal point of what you wear and and you people to take notice of? A bright orange pair fits the bill for this!

Well even if the shoe doesn't pop as much, matching is just lame in general lol it's all about using a diverse color palette

lol dudes try to match those concepts end up lookin like a walking traffic cone

Ding, ding, ding!  We have a winner!

Now look, I have nothing against either of the Concepts' 997 collabs.  Honestly, I think they are both nicely presented and if I'm keeping it 100%, I have yet to peep a 997 that I didn't like at least to some degree.  It's just, as fantastic as the NB 997 silhouette is, neither of those Concepts' offerings excite me enough to willingly drop $250+ on in procurement.  Personally, their Regatta 496 was WAY more intriguing (not to mention wallet friendly) and taking it even further, I think NB's in-house executions on the 997 have been far more rave worthy than either of the Concepts' pairs, but that's just me.  Couple that with the fact many of the GR 997's can be had for discount as @Commander0Zero  alluded to and it's a no-brainer.  As a matter of fact, if I had to rank all of the 997's heretofore (excluding all forecasted GR drops for 2015), it'd go a lil' something' like this.  Hit it!

1)  DTE 

2)  NV

3)  DBR

4)  GY

5)  PR

6)  Rose

7)  Tangerine Dream

8)  HL

Speaking of which...my delectable chocolate-chip brownie 997s arrived today courtesy of that lovely sale on Need Supply.  Big shout once again to @ohwussup  for originally posting the link with corresponding coupon code.  I was just waiting for the right price to pounce on these and am ever thankful/pleased to have them in my possession at last.  They round out my 997 collection nicely with the DTE and NV; both of which were also scooped for a reduced rate.  See a theme here!?!

I'm going to have to disagree with your 997 list. Here's mine:

1. GY
2. NV
3. DBR
4. PR
5. Cncpts creamsicle
6. BTS
7. Rosè
8. HL

Also, no other shop is pushing the boundaries like concepts. They are leading the collab/boutique industry and paving the way. Other shops (kith) continue to recycle and fall off.
 
The Luxury Goods dont look too bad. Wouldnt stress
if I missed out, but would only kop depending on how
the unfiltered pics look (and not that old pic from Nov
kuz those have diff materials). Not tryna spend my Gday
on the internets tryna purchase shoes tho :lol:
 
All of the New Balances have been taken off of exclusion from discount on J. Crew. Get em quick with a code while you can!
 
New Balance frustrates me sometimes. I was going to buy the 991 Horweens the otherday so I added a size 13 to my cart and they tell me it's unavailible and to remove it, and then I refresh to see that they have a complete size run and just removed the 13

they probably made a mistake assuming they had a size in which they didn't, then whatever checkout system they have probably checks their actual stock and if they have it great, if not, you get an OOS and they either ninja edit the size run or have the system do it. I like them too but maybe wait for some sizable discounts, look at the horween 998, from 400$ down to 250$ after they have sat for that tag
 
Sorry guys, i'm size 13 in asics and nike (TTS), 12.5 in diadora, since they rarely do a size 12.5 with the collabs, shuld i get a 13 or a 12 for the 997?

It doesn't look like they're doing any discounts that would work right now, but this was more for the people who got the $50 of $150 e-mail from them. That should work with these now.

You're definitely right man, it's just kind of irritating! Large size NBs are tricky enough. But you're right, patience is key, I'm sure these will be had for sub $200 once other retailers get them. I'm still looking for the burgundy 998s in a 13 though!

Personally, I'd stick with a 13. I wear a 13 pretty much across the board (except for 577s, holy **** are they boats or what?) but can fit into a 12.5 comfortably. There might be a little room in the toebox but I really doubt you'll notice!
