Lets take (arguably) the best NB model (997) and then select a colour. Then we will make the entire shoe that colour.
Amazing 'Concept". Then everybody will buy them for 300$.
Where is the creativity?
The GR 998/997 are much better then the last two concept collabs (IMO).
Too each their own.

Love my rosays and I will try for these ..quality is unmatched yeah GRs are super nice through NB but the simplicity and the color are luring me in

They belong in the nice-to-have category for me, the orange is lovely, but nothing too mind-blowing. Would've loved a little more creativity and originality for me to drop almost 250 on a pair.

..Maybe the Rose release was just the oddball in that it was new, an exotic color, and not too far from the RF Rose Gold GLV release which made it be a heavy conversation topic (i.e. - comparisons in color and such)..

I'm thinking it should be easy...

Question is doubling or not for down the line lol

Everyone in the Asics thread hated on the 8-ball. Standing in line at Concpets for the release people kept saying they liked the sample better and still bought the shoe. At the end of the day they sold out of the 8-balls in 2 hours, so does the hate really matter?

I think this conversation comes down to is what one wants in a collab. A step up in materials? Hard in the NB world for made in the USA/UK models? Different materials? Design risk a GR release wouldn't take? inventive color palette? Concepts def gets this and that means there in no way will be universal agreement. I will say this to me the worst collab is one that no one cares about that doesn't draw discussion. At the end of the day in what should be in the NT Terms of use Buy what you like and then come B**H about it on NT.

wont happen unless theres a loop hole like how Staple got a 577 only by being a 3rd party with Size? and even so NB US was pissed that Staple went that route..doubt we'll see another Staple joint anytime soon from what ive heard 

But the breakdown from my understanding goes like this:

USA Stores/Brands options: US made (waiting list) or Asia made models

UK/Europe/Australia Stores/Brands options: UK made or Asia made models

Asia/Everywhere Else Stores/Brands: Asia made models with a possible chance of UK models based on their relationship with NB

Shame that as NB euro colabs are usually very good and deserve the made in the USA platform... Don't really know what NB USA have got against us euro heads, new balance ID in Europe wouldn't go a miss either
