if you wear a 10.5 in the mt580, i think the size 11 in the seals will run a bit too big/loose on you (might feel like 1 full size bigger).
my seals in 8.5 fit just slightly loose (which is how i like it for casual shoes), but a size 8.5 mt580 was overly loose, so i rock a size 8 in those (fit is perfect, not loose, but not too snug either).
so my take is that the 999 seals run a .25 size large from tts, but the mt580's run a full .5 size large from tts.

I take it that means that even though I am size 10.5 in my MT580 I am safe to go up 1/2 size to size 11 for the seals (999).

Agreed, here. My SEALs fit me extremely tight. My NB TTS is a half size down from my TTS. Went with my NB TTS in the SEALs when I should've gone normal TTS.

rakuten just had a free intl shipping promotion about a week ago. They offer it a couple times a year. Keep in mind most of these sellers will not mark the values down so if it's converted to $200+ prepare to pay 20% in duty. If you buy a lot from japan you should go through a proxy service. Many of them allow you to specify the value when they forward it to you. Of course friends/family would be nice too but i feel guilty having to have them go through the hassle. Plus having a proxy will allow you to shop on the main rakuten and better yet other online options.

MT580 = 10.5 then 999 = 10.5 or 10, 11 would be too loose

Loving these, although this dude probably should've sized down. Those laces are super tight. I'll definitely be on the hunt for these come December 8th. Anyone familiar with Mita's website at all?

well...depends on your personal fit preference. how do your 10.5 mt580 fit you? very snug with little to no wiggle room? if so, you're ok to go with the 11 in the seals.

or do they run slightly loose with some wiggle room? if so, 10.5 in seals i think is better fit for you.

overall, think you're "safe" to go with the size 11 in seals, and they should still fit you just fine...

I prefer the mesh toeboxes, as they prevent creasing. As long as it's a premium mesh, I'm fine with it.

hey buddy... first try stopping in all caps.

I can tell you for myself the 999 seals fit true to size for my feet, but I know others have differing opinions. I like my shoes a little loose since I primarily just walk in them.

I'd suggest you go to the crooked tongues NB forum. They have an informative thread about NB sizing.

And those 1500 are looking really good. Can't wait to see the other colorways.

japanese are notorious for lacing super tight. not sure what the deal is. ive bought new sneakers off private sellers and even though they werent "worn" they were obviously tried on because i had to unlace them out of the box lol.
mita doesnt do international orders, but there are a few places in japan that do. just not sure if those places would get these. back in the day when mita, mad hectic, stussy would constantly pump out nb collabs they would be easily obtainable. im sure these will be the same. these will likely pop up on the rakuten marketplace too at retail by many sellers, and then later at resale prices, but i wouldn't know if it would make it to the international version or japan-only marketplace.

jcrew 998 grey orange are the sheeeet. grabbed mine when they dropped, shoulda grabbed a cyber monday 2nd pair. i dont like the navy ones, too plain. 998s fit a little big for all you size nazis out there. and atmos has black pigeons on that japan global market website rakuten? for $300+, yikes. my $295 is lookn like a deal, ha ha.

most likely not. There are actually a few Made in England 1500s on the new balance website (these will probly be on there eventually).
