Just bought my first pair of 998s, tts? 

I've got the Concrete Jungles that are TTS but then I received my 998gy today I feel that they are a bit bigger. I'd say its hit or miss. I know this is not very helpful but figured I'd drop my 2 cents.

They really did. I was taken off guard when I saw them in person last week. Your pics actually do them justice. They have some of the best materials I've seen in awhile...and that gum sole.

I find it hilarious that people in FB groups say they won't buy 997CCF's because they're not collabs. I know some may just be trolling, but I know a few truly mean it.

I'm all for them not wanting the "unpopular" or "non-hyped" pairs.

The FB groups are great for deals at times, and to sell moderately quickly. Their discussions on the other hand, at times, get ridiculous. Such as with the 997CCF's.

Exactly. No NB collab has caught my attention thus far this year. All I've had my eyes set on are GR's coming out. And they towards the top of my list.

Without a doubt. I hope they never figure it out.

I would say 90% of my NB's are GR's, and quality is on par with Collabs. New Balance knows what they're doing. And the majority of my NB Collabs are from J Crew, which they too know what they're doing.

I've finally seen them in real life, and I'd have to say the toe puff is pretty noticeable.

Lmao, then again...I have been sitting in the sidelines since Concrete Jungles released (from the top of my head) in terms of new releases, and have since been waiting for 997CCF's and 997BTS's. So my praise comes from last years releases back,
If they start to fix what's not broken, I'll start to change my tune.

My point was NB GR's kill, and J Crew knows how to play with NB models. Toe puffs are a no no.
