Yea that shoe looks like garbage. The sewing and leather panels look way off. NB should definitely reimburse you or get you a new pair for the amount of money you're paying for that shoe. Hope it works out.

thanks. unfortunately they were no help. their USA department was more than enthusiastic. they listened to my situation and understood my concerns. the rep looked at my pictures, agreed with me and offered me a refund along with a return shipping label (which they apparently arent supposed to do). sadly he forgot i was in canada and had to transfer me to the Canadian department. i was told to inform the new consultant about my case and what the prior rep was doing for me and they will be able to finish the process because USA department cant conduct canadian shipments. this is where it all went downhill.

after i explained i was talking to another rep and what was happening she asked me what was wrong with the shoe. i told her the poor craftsmanship. she got rude and told me she couldnt help me with anything because i didnt purchase it directly from them and that i was misinformed by the usa department. pretty much the extent of the conversation. i guess it has nothing to do with them unless you live in the USA or buy it from their website. way to stand behind your products NB.

Announced couple days ago, good news for anyone that lives nearish to Niagara Falls (Canadian side) - especially to Toronto based people.

Doubtful we Canadians will get the same kind of crazy cheap pickups like I see posted here, but hopefully...

@92TillContinue Did you literally say poor craftsmanship? Sucks that you weren't able to be helped... Luck of the draw I guess in terms of quality and customer service?
 
^Thanks, been searching forever for a size 9.5, and this pair popped up on eBay. Messaged the seller and worked out a deal for retail shipped. Can't complain!

Those are literally the same words i used. it does suck but the man i spoke to from the USA department was more than helpful atleast. i would have had a great experience if i lived a little more south lol anyway my retailer is helping me out so in the end it should be all good and i can swap em for a new pair.

Just wore mine out for a bit. Usually a 9.5 as well but got a sz10 for under retail and they fit great. Love me some extra room. I think these are one of the more comfortable 997s with that leather lining and squishy insole.
 
Glad you were able to get helped out by your retailer. Thought you were sol. I got some size 9 997nv's for sale...

I did not know the 997NVs had a leather lining. Makes me want to hunt a pair down now.
 
I Un DS'd my Concept x NB 997 Roses today. Man, them joints are ill. The Concept pricing is insane as usual but the combination of the box (prefer the old red one though), three laces (especially the 3M one), 3M on the tongue and other areas, premium suede and comfort make it a great shoe.

Haven't really jumped on 997s since they started deviation from the mono/bi color designs (Gray, NV and the two Concepts) besides the PRV.
