no, its a canvas material on toebox, bottom half of the tongue and upper part of the heel.  the leather is def what smells like a new car...haha

has there been anymore news about the Aqua 1400's that are supposed to release this year? I remember reading an article a couple months back and figured it was  due to release soon but havent seen or heard anything since.

many of us were under the impression the "aqua" was actually a grey pair with filtered look that made it seem aqua-ish, and someone just hyped them up like it was fact that an aqua 1400 releasing soon.

Just ordered a pair of the 997dte, went a 1/2 size down since that seems to be the consensus.

wore a pair of 998 the other day and putting them back in the box was annoying. why are nb boxes so small?

So basically it was most likely a pair of the 1400 bringback that seems to be making its round through all the higher end models like the previous 998? Thats ****** up lol

I have the same type of laces on my 997 GY. They're not as thick but more elastic. The white laces NB uses for GRs are definitely not consistent.

NB run a little bigger. The tech fleece are more form fitting. NB has more room and is more baggy.

Tech Fleece will be tighter in the legs if your talking about the standard cotton NB sweats, they'll fit similiar to your basic Cotton Nike Sweats. My suggestion would be to find some that are either slim fit or ones that have the cuffed bottom otherwise your gonna be wearing parachute pants lol

Nice job did you stick with Dawn White for the toe? I heard it looks more beige in person than white. Is it just the photo or does the suede seem different when looking at the toebox compared to the saddle?  Anyone know if they plan on adding some upgrades like the denim option and leather choices like they had before?

Apparently there is horween leather on the concepts 574. I'm copping bc I live in Boston and can appreciate the laser etching on the back of the shoe

Would you say about the same room in the toebox on both? Never tried on the 997 but assumed it fit bigger than 574.

Yes I stuck with dawn white for the toe and it does indeed look beige. Almost the same if not the same color as the Concepts C-Notes. The saddle's pigskin is def not as rough/nappy as to toebox but the different texture breaks up the silhouette nicely. As for the different materials I unfortunately do not know.

Cncpts 574 easy pass for me.. Just an ID with some laser etching in the back. They're not bad though

Price is secondary, I wouldn't touch a 574 made in USA or mars if its $50.
