Anyone know a way to get around the whole us issue for NB1? Really wanna get myself a pair but I live in singapore, and I've read about the whole PayPal issue.

I would contact J Crew and try to get a refund or exchange your pair, because your left toebox is totally screwed up. I'm surprised that passed inspecition, that's a pretty big error right there.

thanks guys. I owned a pair before but sold it for some much needed cash, they definitely are legit, and hardly look worn. They just need to be laced properly and stored with stuffing/shoe trees to get that shape back a little. super pumped on these. $100 birthday gift to myself

Went with 998 coves and struggle tannerys.
Only complaint is that NB needs to work on the color representation on their site. I knew what I was ordering by looking on IG but the site colors are definitely different from real life. Also, the gray plastic piece and eyelet are way darker in real life.

thats the fine people are riding with custom 998's. more then half of them look fake to me.

Imo trying to copy a shoe exactly is hard to do and leads to the fake look people are talking about. That being said I think using a popular colorway and manipulating the colors around can yield great results that dont look like a fake copy if done right.
