Awesome to finally see CGB's for sale. After many months of hoping they would actually release, this is good..now to wait a few more months to get them on sale

Highkicks had them for 150 shipped versus the 209 retail or whatever it is because of the fathers day promo code. I ordered because i thought it was a good price for the new release. The second pair i will wait and hope for lower then that.
I do agree that the price tag on 997s and 998s is high. The quality is great for sure though.

Those 998 dsa i believe they are, are on nb.com . I like the colorway alot from the photos i have seen but 250 is crazy. Still cant find em cheaper in a 9.5 for myself

I've stayed away from the thread knowing I would end up buying a pair one way or another lol. Just bought a pair of black flyknit trainers, and with so many releases coming up I have to be smart with my spending lol
These customs are tempting, but I've been good so far in not splurging on them.
Retail is high, but good thing with NB GR's are the sales/discounts. Team #neverpayNBretail

no need for a new monitor just calibrate with SpyderPro... It does the work for you
pretty close to the actual render if you ask me

Finally..
And they are absolutely flawless. Super soft suede, correct mesh and lovely shape. Actually kinda hoping i received a bad pair so i could get some NB customer service sent my way but i'm very very happy nonetheless. And I agree, there should be more midsole options. The current options look best with black/grey uppers IMO.

These and another pair a friend created came out really well, definitely my favorite customs so far!
The Mowabb custom came out great as well that was shared a few pages back, but with the Nike Air Mowabb releasing soon, I have my eyes set on those.

So nice brother! And i couldnt agree more about grey working well with the midsole options that are available.
