Just copped the 997 Heritage's in a 9.5 on Urban Outfitters for $129.99!!! I'm guessing someone returned a pair in that size. When that link to that price point hit this thread i missed the boat and they were all sold out

in my size. Glad i stayed diligent and checked again! Such a steal for these.

Haven't bought one yet.  Any particular brand works better than others?

I bought the KIWI brand at Target that comes with a brush as well. It works fantastic, a MUST HAVE for any New Balance sneakerhead because of all the buttery suede.

i had to return my night hawks yesterday.  they were so nice looking in person, but one tongue was soft and the other was really stiff, like the suede had a backing to it.   they were also two different lengths.  maybe Ill get another pair down the road.

Was able to get sneaker politics in a 9 but I need a size 12/13, well at least I have a pair and I'll be able to enter the photography contest they are running.

Great custom job man.  The Earth color looks much better in your photos than the NB1 design platform.   Really digging it.

There were slight creases in both toes in my NB1 pair though, although not as bad as i've seen in some photos, but they're still there nonetheless. Either way, can't complain. The Earth colour does indeed look better IRL than on screen. And the dusty coral is a gorgeous shade of peach. Kinda wish i'd made a monotone dusty coral pair in the first wave.

@mykoh   I have the same toe dent on my 2nd pair of NB1's, but I think mine is a bit more profound. Beautiful shoe nonetheless.

I really wish that NB would use actual photos on their color wheel.   Like fit an actual photo of the color and material of each selection.  Surely it would increase their sales.

Actually i think the colours are pretty representative, it's just the colour balance on our screens that throws them off a little.

You could buy a colorimeter to calibrate your monitor, or adjust it yourself. Nothing beats seeing them IRL though.
