I love how all the best NB1 features are from our group here at Niketalk lol I also love how one of the most frequented and popular threads at Niketalk is about New Balance footwear. 

I'll post my NB1's here tomorrow too when I get some sunlight to show the cyclone and persian purple.

lol dang i didnt see that part, welp im going to go ahead and cop the nighthawks then while they still have in-hand stock of them.

Good choice. I picked up the Nighthawks last weekend while I was in Boston, and I really, really like them - some of the softest suede I've ever felt, and the colors are so much nicer in person than any photo I've seen. I think I like them better than my HTBs...

I dont own any 580s...but i always go .5 down on 997s and 998s from my true size. Both models run large. 997s and 998s have the same length but ive found that most 998s are a bit wider.

So many inconsistencies with everyone's ideas on sizing. To me, 998s fit looser than 997s, but I rock the same size in both. I agree with whoever said they're the same length, but the 998 runs wider.

yeah better way to put it i guess. looser definitely at the toebox for 998s
