So I want to get MHL 997's and I see my size on ebay.. but I am a little cash straped. I've looked for these before with no luck does anyone know any spots other than ebay to check for em? The catchers in the rye pair

I haven't seen them DS on any other site than eBay. I actually posted a link 3 weeks ago to an eBay seller who had an FSR of these at $80 shipped...that's how I got my pair finally too. What size were you looking for?

I wear 10 in UB 11 in huarache and 10 in 997. All depends how your foot is shaped.

Saw them in a NB store in Boston, I am sure they will come to other stores. Never pay retail for NB GR's.

Was it the one on Boylston st? Also, did it have the red midsole stripe? Def grab on sale or at the outlet. Although these aren't showing up everywhere like some GRs. Also, anyone else seen any spots with GYs? That's one pair I'll drop full retail for if I can find em

Yea the red stripe makes a major difference. Hopefully I can find a 13. And it's defiantly not a GR. I've been wanting a clean, retro runner in navy/white CW and this is it..I can only locate them at rock city kicks though..

Yeah, it was the store on Boylston but not 100% sure about the midsole. The outlets hopefully will get a restock of the GYs and NVs soon.

Hey guys, made an account to ask this. I'm looking to get a pair of new balance x concepts c-notes. How do the 998s fit? I wear an 11.5 in asics, an 11 in nikes. I have a pair of 997ccfs in 10.5 but they're a little bit snug in the toe. Other than that they're fine. I dont even have to tie them and they won't move around when walking. Do c-notes fit the same? Could I get away with an 11 or should I stick with a 10.5?

997s and 998s run the same for most people so if it's a bit snug on the 997 in a 10.5 go 11 in the 998.

I wore 8 in asics glv, 8 in nike fkr, 8 in 997ccf, 7.5 in 998 Tourer.
my 997ccf can be sized down to 7.5 like my 998 with a bit of tightness due to my foot being a bit on the high side. 8 is more comfy but on the longer side for the length.

It is a bit early in it's roll-out to be discounted in my opinion. I consider the DSAI a late Q1....almost Q2 release within the Explore by the Sea series. Juxtaposed to the 998 shoe 998CSEF (also in the in the Explore by the Sea series) has still yet to reflect a discounted price since it released early Q1 via online retailers. I'm expecting the 998 csef to drop summer and your DSAI's to become in the discount range in the fall. Just be patient, you WILL get your GR's at a great price.
