Just got to my pair, and compared to my roses they do seem a bit bigger. After a quick fit check it feels like there is more overall toe box room which will probably lead to weird creasing or indents. Both pairs are my normal 997 size 8, which is half down from my measured. Starting to think I might need a half down from my 997 size.

Same, my 9 NYC has the same slightly longer toebox than my 9 Rose.

I definitely should have sized .5 down.
 
For those of you that have both butterscotch and NY 997 can you compare the sizing?

On this topic, some weird stuff is going on with new 997 / 998 NB models.

I know it's been discussed before in this thread, but I've realised that my 998CSEF are easily a full half size bigger (width and length) than my regular 998's of the same size.

As I can't get any 998's or 997's in my country, this makes me very nervous due to having to order everything online.

Btw..for those who missed the HTB on discount, J Crew is doing $75 off anything over $200. Just add a $20 item and both the shoes and extra item come out to $125. I just tried it and it worked...code is SHOPNOW...and if you spend $100 or more its $25 off...Royalty 998s are discounted down to $149 as well

UPDATE: J.CREW did it again...the code isn't applicable for HTB anymore, went to complete my order and it says excluded now. Was working an hour ago.

The HTB's are excluded from discount.

these do seem to be a tad bit bigger, but not by much.

im really loving them on foot alot more than I originally though I would.

Thinking they might have pushed up the date so that they release before the shops abroad get a chance

I love those chambray 1400's. I returned my pair because I knew they would go on sale eventually, and I would be able to get them cheaper... I got burned because when they did go on sale, my size was sold out.
