I love those chambray 1400's. I returned my pair because I knew they would go on sale eventually, and I would be able to get them cheaper... I got burned because when they did go on sale, my size was sold out. 

i actually settled for .5 down from my usual nb size for the chambray bc my size was gone. 

I've been eyeing these for a while great pickup

yea man me too.  i'm also eyeing the navy 1400 with the contrast white stitching.

I own the 997 Rośe and NYC, the NYC definitely has a bigger toe box but not enough for me personally to size down. Butterscotch and Rośe definitely fit the same but the NYC just a bit bigger toe box. 998s will stay in a size 8 as well if the 998 CNS are any indicator.

Both pairs are sick but the color blocking on the 998 is just awesome!

I wear a 7.5 in the grand tourers and the premier's but I wear an 8 in all other 998's. What size should I get for the boston pair?

My size 8.5 was sold out, but restocked and I was able to grab a pair. Bookmark the item page and keep checking back to see if your size restocks. I talked to customer service and they aren't able to contact you or process an order if your size restocks so just keep checking.
