They had these at the Allston/Brighton NBFS for $100/120 i think. Only size 9 and up. Not too sure the price as they didnt have my size.

RE: last conceps drop...I see 225/240$ retail kept peeps away. I got the 997NYCs for a $10 over retail and my 998Bostons for $30 under!!

Dudes still trying to get $300/$350 on em!! Stubborn...or greedy. Maybe both? LoL

Pretty sure 998/997 fit the same for most people with exception of leatherlined and or perforated suede.

I hope so. I can't stand the fit of 998 on me. Makes my sz 9 foot look like a 13 and mad uncomfortable. Saves me a lot of money on NB1 tho

Do you have the 9975? How would you compare them size wise to the the recently released concepts pack. I was a size 11 in them, should i stick with 11 or does the collab and leather liner change that. I ask because those are my most recent NB pair. I did already purchase the 9975 just now but they didnt have 11.5 so i went with 11.

I have the concepts 998 and the 9975 , both size 9.5. Both fit about the same. You should be fine. 9975 has a leather liner too.
But really they fit very similar to me

The 9975 was pretty snug when I first put them on but loosened up after wearing for about half an hour. If they feel tight just give them a chance to break in.

Everyone's foot is different. For me it's the same and if I recall correctly, when discussing sizing a lot of people were the same on both 997 and 998.

Nah I just can't do 998s. I've made peace with it

I'm not even sure really but I got wide feet and an even wider right foot. Some kicks only hurt my right foot. For example 999 and 998 are no Bueno but 1300, 1400, 1500, 996, 577, 576 and 997 are good

Yea chances are your foot is pretty flat, which makes sense why all those models work because with the encap sole it stabilizes your foot and provides maximum comfort for people with low arches/flat feet.

stoked as i finally tracked down my other two j crew 998's i was searching for. had a member from the site pm me yesterday and he had both pair. after seeing pics and little back and forth managed to cop both pair. can't wait to get them. will post pics and thank the member when they arrive.

such a odd coincidence i have been looking for three j crew 998's for a minute and within a week i manage to score all three.i guess that's how it goes sometimes, when it rains it pours. 

kinda dig those desert dunes. in for on foot pics.
