Official New Balance Thread *sizing info for different models on first page*

Holy cow lol I wear a 13 and I find the 54 inch to be too big so I can only imagine, I assume you keep your kicks pretty loose or go the "air max" look by not even tying them. In case anyone is wondering why the lengths of laces sold separate are either longer or shorter than what you normally get with your shoes thats because NB makes the laces that come with the shoes and Hickory Brands is the contracted company that produces about 90% of their accessories. Apparently Hickory peeps and Corp peeps don't communicate....

I lace every one of my kicks up all the way, and hardly ever leave any lace hole empty.

54 is doable, but the last 3 lace holes are a little cluttered to say the least

My 997ccf sz8 fully laced up is at a suitable length for knot. 998 sz7.5 fully laced up is too short for knot. Didn't really compare the length but guess its due to sizing down this taking up more lace from loosing the kicks

Also got my 9975s in from Oneness, that shape is [emoji]128076[/emoji] They definitely fit the same as the 997/998 for me if anyone was still wondering.

Would you mind telling me if the mudguard of your right pair looks distinctively different than the mudguard of the left pair?
For me the 9975 fits a little bit wider than my 997, I guess it's due to the 998 sole and the large 'overhang' of the upper onto this thin part of the outer sole in the front (that none of my older 997.5 has)...

They are both, only made up to a size 10. They look crazy different from the promo pics.

I don't have any pictures but I don't think my pair has any major flaws like that. As far as the soles go, absorb>>revlite.

i'm a size 7.5 and i bought the 54" length, but i find it a little too long, i had to go through every lace hole to use up the length.
I have no idea whether the 45" would be too short though..

I got the 45 inch and they are good lenght. Slightly shorter than what comes standard in the shoes.
