why do these shoes have midsoles that tend to wrinkle then have the paint rip, happend to my flips and militaries. could it be because of my heavy structure.and i can fix it with paint right?

yea i think you can fix it with paint....but i think i heard that it most likely is gonna start ripping again....somewhat like a clear sole.....the more youwear it...the quicker its gonna begin to look bad...but eventually its gonna happen.......

^^^ And the Care/Maintenance thread would help even more..

wow, that's some major chipping. i guess if you wear them enough eventually they are going to chip especially with nike's quality of late.

I've worn my Mili's a lot and mine don't have any of that happening to them, not even a ripple in them

wow! bubblicious... my 2001 3's aren't like that (they must have begun to use some crappy paint on the flips...)

thats a phylon midsole for ya, the old PU midsoles didn't wrinkle, but the paint did crack some.

not gonna lie, idk why but seeing those pics of those flips made me pretty mad
militaries ok but not the flips

I'd expect the Militaries to be shredding up but it's kinda weird to see the Flips like that. The Flips have waaaayyy better quality than than. Not tobe funny or anything, but how much do u weigh? Regardless of how many times you wear your shoes they shouldn't be in that condition that soon.
