youre right. In an alternate universe where the xmen series doesn't exist, yes
Anyone ever play this? One of my favorite games.
thats all i remember about the Batman and Robin game. This was my jam. This game and the Toy Story game. So fun yet so hard to beat
agreed with this...grew up watching these cartoons and went thru these series a year back. batman aged great while i didnt care for the xmen series as much as i did back then. same with the spider man. didnt age that well to me.The love of the X-Men animated series is drenched in nostalgia.
Try rewatching it as an adult and you quickly realize it shouldn't be mentioed in a conversation with Batman: TAS.
It may not be your personal favorite but Batman: TAS is at the very least is likley the most influential animated telvision series produced in the past 30 years.
Agreed, Mark Hamill was the MAN..I didn't now he was the voice until a few years after it ended. Never read the credits only watched the AWESOMENESS...You already know
With stories like "Robin's Revenge" and the whole reimagining of Mr. Freeze...this show could do no wrong.
I'm still convinced that Kevin Conroy nailed Batman better than any other actor to play him yet. And mark hammil as the Joker?
Cant forget about TMNT tho
Shows like these were cancelled because of suburban mothers *****ing about "too much violence in the cartoons (which influenced boys to act like men)It's a shame we don't have any great cartoon series like this anymore. This, Superman, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, Spiderman, X-Men, Batman Beyond. I even liked the first Teen Titans cartoon. Recently we had Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Young Justice but of course they had to get cancelled.
I know people say cartoons get cancelled because of poor toys sales but that's such a crappy reason. Did cartoons depend on toy sales like that back in the day? Do kids still have their parents buy a lot of action figures and stuff? I would think video games and tablet games would be more in demand.
