  3. Perchance to Dream- One of the cruelest thing a villain has ever done to Batman.
  4. The Cape and Cowl Conspiracy- This episode showed of Batman's detective skills and it also exposed us to my favorite Batman villain (Wormwood).
  5. The Demon's Quest- This two part epsiode really demonstrates why Ra's al Ghul is Batman's greatest foe.

.. was Perchance to Dream where bats think batgirl got killed and gordon went all crazy? if so ... thats my favorite ep

No. The Mad Hatter abducted Batman and gave him a dream to make his life all perfect (his parents were alive, Selina Kyle was his fiance, etc). Dude didnt understand it and finally figured out what was up....jumeped off the clock tower and woke up and messed up Mad Hatter's scheme.

Detective work at it's finest
He also realized it was a dream when all the words in the books and newspapers were jibberish. He said something about how one side of the brain controls dreaming but this side does not control reading comprehension.

DAMN! so many eps i forgot about! i gotta go cop the dvds..

messed homies game
up for reals

-the entire episode of "Almost Got 'Em" when bats had the Killer Croc outfit just chillin in the room all incognito

-The Grey Ghost episode, when they paid homage and used Adam West as the voice of him. That was ill

And I thought I was the only one who felt this way. The dark atmosphere of the show made it what it was

Wow alot of posters brought back some great memories of watching this show in the afternoons in the 90's.

1. Robin's Reckoning - Worthy of some kind of award IMO
2. Grey Ghost episode
3. The episode where all the villans are playing poker and bat's disguised himself as killer croc
4. Cape and the Cowl
5. Joker Fish Episode

What was so great about Batman TAS as well as X-men and a slew of other great 90's cartoons is that they were more adult-themed and had a rich storyline.

Batman the Brave and the Bold is a pretty good cartoon as well but it's like a dumb-downed Justice League thing. I really like the cameo's though.

Batman-GOAT superhero
TAS-GOAT cartoon

Almost Got Em-GOAT episode

The grey ghost was a bite off of the Shadow. Batman was inspired by the Shadow, thats in the comics.

This cartoon held true to the comics pretty close as did Spiderman and the Xmen. All 3 where great but...

Batman TAS was and still is the GOAT.

Robin's Reckoning is a two part episode of the critically acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series. The first part aired on February 7, 1993 and was writtenby Randy Rogel and directed by $@%! Sebast; it earned the series an Emmy for Most Outstanding Half Hour or Less Program and is considered to be one of the bestepisodes of the series

Batman Beyond was GREAT!!! I started watching it online a few weeks back. TAS was pretty good too. I remember not really gettin into it at firstbut after a while I realized how great it was. "The Batman" was also good. Shame it got canceled.

The Brave and the Bold.. ehh.. I understand its based on the comic series but from the couple episodes I caught, it is nowhere near the three I mentioned. Beyond = TAS > The Batman > Brave and the Bold

I cant say it was the best cartoon......OG Transformers has that title inmy book, but I can say that it was def the best version of any of the Batman cartoonsout there

Out of purely nostalgia, I'd say the og TF cartoon was GOAT too, but do you know how hard it is to actually sit and watch most of the G1episodes now?

I'd say the OG X-men series still beats out B:TAS,but not by much. I can actually watch these shows today and not realize that I just peeped a 20 min toy commercial

yo I still watch the original animated movie on VHS when Optimus died and gave up the matrix and Hot Rod became Rodimus Prime. I still shed a tear and Imgrown

Man a couple of the Clayface ones too.

Where are you guys finding the box sets? Online?

Everyday after school! I used to have the walkie talkies, action figures, a pair of shoes and underwear.
