I don't have the og xi's, but I have all the 2000 retros (including low tops) and the 2000 retros has way better quality. The dmp xi's feels likecheap material compared to the 2000 retros. Right when you put your foot in the dmps xi's you could tell the difference right away. However the dmpxi's soles are way more icy.
 
well i can say i've un DSed my concord XI and they are starting to yellow a little bit, i feel thats more because of the age though. i have not wore mydmps yet so i'll have to get back to you on that, but as far as holding em both in my hands the concords are much better quality wise
 
Quality and comfort wise the DMP XI cannot compete with any OG XI period. I wore my DMP's today for the 4th time and they are still very icy though. Thereis a huge difference in the clarity of my VI's and my XI's. My VI's show noticeable yellowing where my XI's look almost deadstock and I'vewore them both equally.
 
I love my DMP's thats all I have to add...Wear them all the time and they look brand spankin new.
 
the only thing i dont like from the DMP to the concords is the DMP fits smaller....both are sz 9.5 but my DMP fits like an 8.5....cant wear them for too longcause it starts to hurt...but the soles seem to stay icy longer

I remember people wearing Concords out the box and they were yellowed. I have no bad glue on mine or none of that. stuff is just still clean for me.
