Chippage- Re-paint. Sorry.

Swirls- Dawn Wash, Claybar, Extreme Cut, Regular Cut, Polish, and 2 coats of wax. (For steps 3-6 you need a DA. Cyclo or PC 7424)

If you gentlemen get the PC 7424, throw away the pads that came with it. Get yourself some Lake County Polishing Pads. (Orange, White, Blue, and Black.)

^LOL. Ok. Just letting you know what I do for my details.

When you get your ride re-painted, get a 3m ClearBra installed.

however... I wouldn't use those claybars on a car with chipped or peeling paint.... especially on a car thats still hot... its best to use it when the caris cool. The last thing you want is for it to melt onto the paint.

Dawn soap is a great soap to use because it gets a lot of the greasy crap off as well as old wax.

Meguiar's wax is something you can't go wrong with.

my car is white so I don't really care too much about the towel I use because I don't see any swirl marks... I just use a micro-fiber towel to polish, wax and buff.
