Today I went into a goodwill and bout a pair of 85' Sky Jordans in a size 6. White, Black, Red. Amazing shape, most of the tread left, lots of stars. Paid 5$. As a Jordan head it is the kind of thing you dream of, finding a grail in great shape and for so cheap. I suppose I'll let my wife wear them,because these things really are made like tanks, and then maybe save them for my kid someday. Anyway, I digress... Have any of you guys ever had such anamazing find.

Sorry no pics, don't have a digicam tonight, will tomorrow if anyone cares and if I don't get flamed for making a post this goofy that isn't abouta fusion/future-release/what-should-i-buy?

Notable mentions: the air flight ones in my avatar, some grape air max 95s in 10.5, white/navy air way ups size 9, playoff XIIs size 12, black white XIIIs size12, and command force pumps size 10.5. Each for less than $10 with the exception of the command force pumps.
 
found some atlantic penny ii's in very good shape at the goodwill years ago for $30 i wore those things into the ground.

I wish I can find stuff like that. Jordans from 85 probably arent wearable though..maybe you should reconsider letting your wife wear them.
 
thats a very good find and not at all unusual. found a pair of cool grey ix's in my local thrift town 3 years ago for 19 bucks. not everyone who owns orhave owned jordans put the value us shoeheads place on em. the ix's look as if they were never tried on.

I've always read that OG 1s are completely wearable, they don't have foam like the III, IV, VI etc that crumble. They're made ofrubber, leather, and stitches, and feel solid as a rock. Also something I find pretty strange is that my Black/Blue 1s from 01 are incredibly uncomfortable,there is no cushioning at all in the forefoot, just the thickness of the bottom sole, the cushioning on these feels so much more substantial, and I thought the01s were well made.
 
nice, i wish the goodwill by my house had nice shoes, theirs are always run into the ground, did find an old walter payton jersey there though
 
nice find bro, i have never come across anything that could even be associated with "heat" at thrift stores around me
 
I made my wife go with me to a couple thrift stores last weekend for this exact reason. Every now and then you find a diamond in the rough. Nice Work.
