Compared to some of the other pictures...what in the living hell are the UFC pics up there for?

a. they're not emotionally powerful
b. they're not even remotely close to being a part of world history

No, I'm not mad, but come on

a. True they might now be apart of world history but Nothing was said about everything on this post being anything about World History.
b. Any picture can be emotionally powerful to a human being if it somehow it relates to them. You used MMA (thats what the sport is called, not UFC) so i willgive you why its Powerful and/or Inspiring to someone. If you fight MMA, Coach MMA and/or are extremly involved in it as I am then these Pictures, WhatHappened in the pictures, Who these people are, or what these people have done and anything else that might be posted Would be Inspiring to someone like me.

You could say the same for someone who Does anything with music. Put a Picture of John Lennon, 2pac, Led Zeppelin or someone else it could be an insperation tothat person although music isnt in comparisson to World History say like the Kennedy Assination, its still Extremly Important to someone. Good Talkin to youbuckeroo.

Omayra Sánchez was one of the 25,000 victims of the Nevado del Ruiz (Colombia) volcano which erupted on November 14, 1985. The 13-year old had been trapped inwater and concrete for 3 days. The picture was taken shortly before she died . Just like Kevin Carter in Sudanese famine picture, the photographer who tookthis pic was heavily criticized.

Those are just some pictures from the first page of one of my favourite JJB threads ever about world famous photographs throughout history...That thread mademe cry. It makes you go through all these emotions at once when you look at it. It shows you how we are just a grain of salt compared to the rest of the worldand it gives a whole new perspective on life.

If anyone is interested to look at the thread, you can check it out here: http://jjb.yuku.com/topic/278428/t/World-Famous-Photography-throughout-history.html

BTW the Sean Taylor pic is absolutely amazing.

That second Pic is John Lennons Glasses. Mark Chapman shot Lennon in the back 4 times, dude was a stalker. When he was in the apartment and his glasses were onthe table next to the water... just always thought that imagery was very powerful. That circle with "Imagine" in the middle is a memorial to him.

^^ haha youre kidding? thats a tight story. for someone to have pull like that is nuts. wake up randomly one day and think to "yourself what am i gonna dotoday... ah go meet the president."
