Honestly...that song was hot and his verse was dope...but for you to boost him up and say cats like Jay shouldn't even be discussed just showyour bias.

Absolutely nothing he said was super level lyricism, you can find that same level of rap littered on any MCs album with average talent. There is nothing theregreater than T.I. or Sean Prices good verse...so chill out.

He's talking about guzzling 40s, how nice he is, having gaudy chains that hang down to his d_, with a few nice punchlines tossed around. How is that betterthan your average Jay-Z verse? Its the same evel of lyricism, just different approaches and styles for 2 different audiences.

Kool G is great because he was ahead of his time in his prime...not because he is a lyrical monster who consistently bodies everyone he is on a track with.

Quite the opposite.

Because of his style, hes rarely going to outshine anyone even if his lyricism is technically better.

And now I see what it is....he spits about Iraq, Iran, terrorism, war and the Middle East...thats why you seem to think he better than anyone else.

Hes not though.

Average at best...with subject matter and a style that is appealing to you but a turn off to most listeners.

Most rap fans and listeners of music in general...will appreciate a Song Cry over Razorblade Salvation. Its just a better track. Listen to them back to backand the level of music is clear.

That song was God awful but he did come better than Sean Price.

Still...most mixtape rappers come harder than that. Nothing exceptional lyrically....just more backpacker bias, juicing something up to be more than it is jsutbecause its underground.

Anyway back on topic, back to the topic, this Nas and Jay talk is never gonna end and will never be settled and I think it's a true testiment on how greatthese both are and how impactful they are to Hip Hop. Nas vs Jay arguments are more had than Pac vs Biggie ones, which truely shows you the status of Jay andNas.

I've always used to say Nas > Jay one month, then the next Jay > Nas. So I came to the conclusion that it's a toss up, Nas = Jay...It's justa matter of apples and oranges..
