Anybody here still play Gears of War 2?

yea it doesnt take so long anymore but some of the rooms you get in are laggy

I will warn you though; The wild things come out of my mouth when there are garbage players with the chainsaw and the two-piece. I don't even know why Iplay this game, it makes me mad. I'm ranked about 10k in Guardian, and that's pretty much all I play. I play on weekends.
 
GoW2 = Failure.

They keep taking away things that made the game actually take skill. I was HEATED with each patch dropping and taking away things that made the game more fun.

Oh yea some scrub NT'er Jetpac or somethin like that was talkin all hard last time I remember we had a GoW2 thread. Dude is terrible and a cheater.
 
Gears 1 > Gears 2....HOWEVER!!

They recently made Gears 2 as close as they can to Gears 1. I got to rank 46 about a month ago, I stopped playing because of all the people who made theirstupid lag-switches! So I stopped playing for like 2 weeks, went to Mexico and stuff, and when I checked my rank I was ranked over 100.

I just recently started playing again and I love it how they have the new rank systems and how people dont lag-switch the games and bridge host.

Crank get at me, I get together with some friends and we basically never lose. Gears is a really good game, most of the folks who dislike the game are the oneswho are bad at it. And it takes me no more than a minute to find a match I dont know how you guys still say it takes long for you guys to get in a game.

Ridiculous. That's why I can't get into this game. By the time I've been waiting for 8 minutes I don't even wanna play anymore. I could've already gotten two matches of COD4 in. It took long enough on Gears of War 1 for the room to get full and the host to ready up. When they said they were going to a "Halo-style" multiplayer, i thought it'd be the best thing in the world, but it's 10x worse. Hopefully they've learned their lesson and will use dedicated servers for the next one.

He's exaggerating , it takes like 2 minutes or less .

It just seems like longer because you're sitting there anxious to play .

One time me and my brother timed it, it was going on 13 minutes so we just gave up.
 
I think Gear2>Gears1, didnt think it first but after a few months of play I say it better

game is just boring to me, just a rolling fest imo, Altough I heard they fixed that but I sold the game
