what politics.If he so passionate about his music why not go to a Indie without having the problem's and stress of a label like he is alwaystalking about. He will have creativity to do whateva. Like another NTer said i think it is dropping independently.i wouldn't be surprised if this guy hasmore "news" about his album and no actual music surfaces to hold fans down.

This guy has seriously devolved from a unique, witty social commentator/lyrical gymnast into some weird, geeky, "artistic" nonsense thattries to be different just for the sake of being different, to be consumed and appreciated by the type of cats who go on shooting sprees at school... this issome bull. After his last "fiasco" of an album and hearing the title of this one, I will certainly NOT be purchasing.

I haven't heard any new material since The Cool. I don't need to and never said that I did. The Cool was on some weird, nerdy "lookat me, I'm different" type stuff. There's really no comparison as far as style or even really substance between The Cool and Food & Liquor. As far as judging an album's music by the title, based on his last album and the title for his new album and the rationale behind it, I'm saying that Iwon't be interested because it sounds like it will be even further in left field than The Cool which was far too left (and nerdy and weird) for my tastes. If you can relate to some "angry isolated teen outcast," or if you think it will make for great hip-hop then good for you... but I'm notinterested.
