I need a job so I can get a car VOL. what do I do

My dad said the only way he would help me get a car is if I have a job. I need a job. Back in November/December, I applied to circuit city, target, sportsauthority, luckys, and safeway and none of them called back. I have 0 experience and I'm a freshmen in college. My plan is to get the job then work forabout a month. By this time I'd have a car and I'll tell my dad I got laid off. Where could I easily get a job(is that even possible nowadays)? I justneed to show I have income.
 
What a stupid plan. Why don't you just keep the job? Finding a job should be like your full time job for now. Fast food chains will hire everybody andanybody. Just saying man, I'm a freshman in college as well and I have a full schedule at school+2 part time jobs just so I could have my own car.

I don't live with him. He has the money but he's stingy. All I was asking for was a used car that's no more than 20k. I would betrading in my current car for it and that would go towards the down payment. IMO it should be easy to get me a used car, it's not like I was asking for anew one. Even then he could afford that too. And the nerve he has... He can't even get me my car without a job but he's telling me that he wants totrade his his porche for a new one. It was around my bday and xmas when I asked him to get me a car. Also, I expected him to pay for my tuition without aproblem, and he only ends up paying literally half. When he writes me a check for tuition, he'll give me $_____.82 cents if that's half.

How are you going to say you got laid off when peopleare literally getting laid off. You have no experience anyways. If you want a job, check Craigslist, supermarkets, monster, hotjobs.

He's a dentist and has his own clinic. When we went to the dealership back in December, we looked at the car I wanted. The way he was talkingto the cars salesmen was like he's really about to buy it. He said "I might as well pay it off... blah blah blah". Also, I told him that Ican't find a job and I asked if I could work for him. He said there not busy right now and he has a lot of workers already. I'm thinking atleast let mework for you and not pay me. Pay me by getting me the car. I was willing to do that and commute 1 hour to work at his place but nope.
 
Work at a golf course. It's easy as hell, you get tipped well, and you could possibly meet some baller members that could help you out later in life (ie-send your resume their baller friends).

Anyways, you seem pretty ungrateful. Just because he has the $$$ doesn't mean he has to get you a car, especially since you already have one.
