I'm getting a new phone after using the same phone since junior year of highschool and I am leaning towards getting a Blackberry because of itsprofessional appeal. I don't know much about phones anymore and I was wondering if ya'll can shed some light. What's the difference between thebold, curve, storm? Pricing will also help because I'm shooting for 200-300 dollars.

Some side notes:
I'm on T-Mobile.
I will NOT be getting the 3G internet and will just be connecting wireless
I'm getting this mostly for text and emails

Thanks fam

for your price range, get the new curve. the thing is

what are the advantages of the curve over the bold?

what are the advantages of the curve over the bold?

It's thinner and has a better camera. That's all I can think of... But it's still a good phone.

looks just as awesome too

iphone's touchscreen isn't hard to use. but nothing beats a physical keyboard, nothing. which is why im going towards the pre or BB niagara thissummer.

Since you're on T-Mobile, the only 3G phone available is the G1. You mentioned fast data speed isn't apriority which leaves either a BB or unlocked iPhone. If battery life and instant e-mail is important go with a BB. If web browsing, music, videos are moreimportant go with unlocked iPhone. You can also unlock the Bold/Storm, but you'll be running on EDGE.

I'll probably wait for an unlocked BlackBerry 9630 aka Niagara, which is the Bold, Curve and Storm combined since T-Mobile won't be getting a BB with3G anytime soon because the updated Curve just came out.

still trying to decide between these two as well.

I use the 8900 and the G1 as my everyday phones. The BB is good for text and email, but the G1 is perfect for media, internet, text, email, maps, directions, and all around fun.
