Hispanics & Blacks...

how come some us us dont get along?

In NYC some Hispanics(PRicans, Dominicans & so on) are grouped with Blacks and have no problems with it or eachother (not true for all though).

but I've noticed outside of the Tri-State area yall are like Oil & Water...

I think it has something to do with the # of Black Hispanics on the West compared to the East

I live in NY btw and I was wonderin cause I saw that pic of all the Latino kids chasin the 2 black kids...)
 
idk bra,(most)hispanics and black get along good in Texas, and FLA.

I know its kinda hard for a brother to get a bad chica, though?
 
i've never noticed that
when i lived in florida i was
friends with dominicans puerto ricans
colombians surenos all of em...come to think
of it i only hung out with hispanic people

i get along with pretty much everyone, i dont really notice too much Hispanic/ Black hate, but then again im a homebody they could be out in the streetsfighting right now. i just wanna know why people cant get along, is it so hard to just go abot your business?

I went to the park to hoop one Summer. Some Hispanics were playing 3 vs. 3 on both sides of the court.

I'm with 2 of my friends and we ask if wecould start a 5 on 5 game. They fiercely said no and was like, "Take it eaaaasy."

I heard they think Blacks are lazy.

out here on the west coast theres been problems forever

i remember it got so bad one time in high school that the riot police came just because they were afraid we were gonna fight the hispanics (they lumped allblack people in one group even if they werent involved same with hispanics

east coast has love for domincans and pr's and such
west coast has alot of mexicans and .... yeah.

yea, I lived in SD for s min and the mexicans there did act like the had a problem with black people.

Here in the bay, latinos and blacks get along just fine. I think the only people that have a problem with each other are those that are in gangs. You havecertain gangs that are mostly populated by latinos and/or blacks and when they get on each other's block or something that's when they start beefing.But if you're referring to your regular cats, then they all get a long. I'm latino most of my friends are black and a few latinos.
 
Pricans and Dominicans are Hispanics...there is no so on...Most are Latino


Thats aint true b. Im Dominican and i consider myself Latino. It all depends where you live and the history in the neighborhoods. In the DC metro everyone getsalong for the most part.

But yeah in NYC its all good. But I've been in Fla. for a few years now and notice some segregation in some parts.
 
Here in the bay, latinos and blacks get along just fine.

i dont know what hidden part of the bay youre talkin about but ive lived here for my whole life and latinos and blacks hated each other forever

I heard it was because black dudes take all the Latino females but Latino dudes can't as easily pull black girls.

Anyways, I've never had a problem with Mexicans or any other Latinos. In fact, I found them generally to be quite friendly to me. I remember when we werein California, in Inglewood or somewhere in the area, at some liquor store, at night, and if you let your favorite rapper or video director tell it likely tobe robbed or shot or something but all the Mexicans and a few blacks we talked to were again, very friendly. They knew we weren't from around there too,talked to us some about where we from, some things to do in the area, and shortcuts to getting around, met some more at Universal Studios. That's why I tryto not let biased media and entertainment form my opinions for me.

So what? Maybe they didnt know you guys and didnt want to be bothered with you and your friends. Play elsewhere.

In the west coast there have been problems for years. But out in the east coast, it's not a big deal.

Sometimes you can see it happen though.
