Well, I'm trying to expand my music taste and i love this album. 11am and have you ever are my fav tracks. Make Yourself was okay and i tried their otheralbums but always came back to this one. Any Suggestions for some more albums.
 
Well coming from a "hardcore" Incubus fan, I find immense enjoyment and inspiration from each of their albums sans Fungus Amungus (made when they 15and 16 years old). I think the big thing about Incubus albums, they take repeated listenings. An album like A Crow Left of the Murder took several listensbefore I really felt and connected to it. For an introductory listener, I think Morning View absolutely has the best reception amongst that base; I love thatalbum. You might listen to each of their albums in their entirety and still like Morning View the best, but tons of great music litter their other works.

Oh by the way, summer tour coming up in a few months!

yo Aqueous transmission is sooooooooo appreciated..... i cant tell you how many times im listened to this song on the bus to school.... the feel just makes youwanna close your eyes and zone out.

I don't think I can pick a single album as a "favorite." The lyrical content of Make Yourself influenced me a little bit, but each record oftheirs has loads and loads of replayable tracks for sure.

couldn't remeber the name of it but when i went to youtube and type in aqueous transmission it was the song i was looking for. thanks man, brings back somany memories

I got into Incubus a few months ago and they are seriously an AMAZING band. I have listened to all of their albums except for Fungus Amongus and I think A CrowLeft of the Murder wins it for me. Pistola, Priceless, Sick Sad Little World, Talk Shows on Mute, etc... So many of my favorite songs on one album though myfavorite song is Pendulous Threads from Light Grenades.

Can anyone recommend any other bands with a similar sound?

the frogs....mandolin(?)...it has a crazy asian feel.... one of their slept on joints by far...
 
Yeah Aqueous Transmission is amazing. I love the re-inventiveness of this band. Each album has a totally different makeup and sound. At least one song an albumthat I cannot describe in words.

Greatest Hits album coming in June with tons of extra goodies on a second disc. New album sometime in 2010. Tour this summer.
