I don't see the arrogance in believing the Bible. I believe it's complete and does not contradict itself. Does that make me arrogant?
The Bible does not talk about:
- trillions of imploding galaxies
- leaving us on the edge of our vast universe
- failed solar systems
- billions of years of evolved creatures on our planet
However, I would love to read more about these subjects. I'm sure you have your sources.

Man people kill each other over sales at stores. Point is, people find reasons to kill each other. God didn't give his word for us to kill andfight over but to learn and get closer to him. That's like blaming Nike for making limited shoes that people kill or hurt each other over. Or like storeshaving Black Friday specials where people get trampled in the process. The fact of the matter is, we have sense. We have brains and hearts. He gave us controlover ourselves. Free will. What we do is decided by us, not what we read, hear or watch. People will take responsibility here or be forced to on Judgment day.Those who have abused free will, will answer for their doings.
No. But I pray and I honestly believe He reaches me through his words, signs and other people.

Many of them do believe God literally talks to them. That's the genius of it though. It's so fake and based on nothing logical or in reality, thatit's totally subjective and therefore you can't really argue it. People say, " God told me...." to try to justify there own opinions, andit's always hilarious when they are wrong.
I also love how Xtians think they can understand God, but only some of the time. Like when something good happens after you've been going to church,tithing, praying, it's God rewarding you for your steadfastness and conversely you stop tithing, something bad happens, oh it's because you didn'ttithe. BUT, when you are being a good person and doing all your Christian stuff and something still happens, well it's "The Lord works in mysteriousways," or something again totally vague and meaningless. I mean, good things happen to bad people and vice versa, so his reward system is obviously nonexistent, random, or totally !%+%@@ up.
And since he is all knowing, why pray anyways or dress up and go to church and sing and dance and speak in tongues? He already knows, right? Seems likeyou're showing off more for other people than God.

I respect a person's right believe in whatever they want to believe and I find it incredibly stupid to criticize their beliefs
but I hate it when people feel the need to push, convince, or persuade other people about their own beliefs

I went to a bible study the first week of school and I was the only guy talking (other girls were too). Dood got all excited and hit me up to chill, but afterthat I felt like I didn't want to do that stuff anymore, because I don't incorporate religion THAT much in my life. I love my God and all, but Idon't think I have time to be part of that group and be devoted. I feel bad that I'm still cool with the peoples but don't really hit up theirbible studies. Maybe I'll drop by one of 'em one of these days..

when you see good things in people, you see God in them.
when people do good things, or use the gifts that God gave them to bring glory to God, they are doing God's will, whether they are playing a sport, orwashing dishes.
it's not like a ghost standing behind you, its an inner peace that you have, knowing that no matter what negativity/evil may come to you, none of it willfade you.
