Thread is looking healthy again. Lets keep it on the first page boys. I'm just recovering from a restart in my wolfing session. Had to get a cut for my uncles wedding, so I'm back in the game

Here's my story in cliff note form:

  • Had CRAZY waves up until I was about 20. Barber cut against the grain and cut them out my head.

  • Been trying to get my waves back since but to no avail.
  • Decided to participate in "Movember". Last got my hair cut on 10/20/10.
  • Washed my hair every other day and put WaveBuilder Deep Wave grease in.
  • Couldn't be looking scruffy on Thanksgiving with folks coming in from all over so I got my haircut yesterday.
  • Waves returned!!!

You guys didn't tell me to let my hair grow out. I was getting a fresh cut every 1.5-2 weeks. Now I'm back in business

My dude, to be completely honest, the best way of getting waves, is to get your hair cut around a 1.5-2 depending on the thickness of your hair and brush in the shower/du rag after.
I soak my hair in the shower then get out and brush it until it goes from soaking to just being a little damp. Then I wave cap/ du rag it and chill for about 10-20 minutes and when I take it off I'm spinning.

best way imo. I've ditched products for the most part
