kinda debating also, this nudred sponge tho gives me a new style. I have two cq brushes and tsu rag from my last wave quest. The time tho, plus not wanting to lay down without a rag on all the damn time.smh. I might do it though!

Aka "resale costs way too much".
I have an OG 8159 and I'll tell you right now, unless your hair is naturally OD thick, or you've been wolfing 4-5 weeks, this thing will rip your scalp off fresh out the box :x
But once your hair gets long enough, it's perfect. My crown brush still doesn't do the work this thing does when wolfing. I'm not sure how the hard crown is though. I have a medium CQP.
I have the new "retro" 8119 and it's not as good as the OG, but it's damn close. It's worth $5 and will give you $100 results if you put in that work

PRIME , I bought the retro off amazon a few months ago. Its aight, the bristles keep falling out though
I had bristles falling out at first too but it stopped after the first few times brushing.
They definitely aren't made as we'll as the old joints though.
The paint job done on them is still better than my crown though
If CQP did a better job at the paint on their brushes, they'd have the best brush ever. I was just disappointed when the black paint on mine started to chip and peel off.
Especially for $20

If you don't want to spend the money on the og Diane 8119 get the wild running bour 3119 it's the closest thing to a og Diane 8119

Yes it is I've sold over 20 of the og Diane 8119s. I found them locally for like 5.99 and re sold them for 35.00 to 40.00.
