These had potential to be a great shoe. Nike didn't do the best job on these and I'll tell you why...

CONs
NO ANKLE SUPPORT whatsoever
Cushioning is not what it should be
Internal neoprene booty is waaayyyyy too thin

PROs
Extremely lightweight
Great traction
Decent price point
Great lace lockdown
Nice colorways

They are really light, but they should have bulked up the shoe a bit. Maybe switching out the insoles for a cushion one they might be bought. Otherwise I'mpassing.

Retail is $104.99 and they release tomorrow. Basically the hyperflights all over again. But hyperflights were better.

We got a pair in today that was white patent with black nubuck. That is one sick colorway.

Another less pleasing one is basically exactly like the M4 blk/caro/yellow.

Up online now.

The Nike Flight Windmill is ideal if you are the athlete who represents the notion of today?s high flyers. This product is lightweight and provides support andcomfort. It?s lightweight, weighing in at approximately 12.1 ounces. The upper was engineered using textile/compression mesh. This shoe will be the featuredshoe in the Dunk Contest at All-Star weekend in New Orleans. You will see several professional players on court in the Nike Flight Windmill basketball shoe.
Synthetic-leather upper with a breathable base layer as a second skin delivers an amazing fit and comfort
Forefoot lock-down strap provides a secure fit
Zoom Air unit in the heel for responsive cushioning

The word Hyperflight across the tounge is only on samples. The real deal says Windmill. Just wanted to clear that up. Also the insole is barely gluedinto the shoe which would make replacing the insoles for better ones really easy. That will be the deciding factor on whether or not I buy these.

I see it reads "hyperflight" on the tongue. The overall shape and patent leather does kinda bring me back to em. Even check the outsole, slim justlike hyperflights. But what's with "hyperflight" on the tongue anyway? Those Igoudala PE's are fiya BTW.

Ok so are the black ones going to be the only ones releasing at first?

Pretty big cons right there in terms of a playing shoe.

2 newer pictures of the VC editions:

^HUGE CONS, I will have to try them on to see for myself, but I'm good for a while with the melos, until I get into the BB 2's I don't thinkanything is going to replace the M4's.

Great VC colorway, if that color was releasing, that is the one that i would want.

peace

These reasons probably are why we are not gonna see VC wear these anytime soon. I'd be suprised if he did wear em.

Check the review request in Sneaker Reviews for more info.

I agree about the ankle support part, but it's not like it's non-existent. It's just not like Lebron IV's or Kobe II's, but that works finefor me. A little freedom at the ankle is a big plus for me, and I'm a cutter/slasher/shooter.

Cushioning worked fine for me on the court. I'm heavy for my height too, and they felt great. I could see a lot of people having issues with the heelsetup, but I love to get out and RUN in these.

The only real problem I had was keeping the laces completely tight. Might have to retighten them every few games or so.

The moment i saw those i was reminded of alphaprojects designs, then i read later that they were indeed his creation. Nice refreshing look, not sure if i'dcop, but i do like.

No Pics, but it looked like Stanley Burell was wearing them during the XU vs. St Joe game last Sunday
