i thought you already committed to not charging dude up b/c you dont wanna get kicked off for fighting. this seems like a no brainer. either drop the chargesand handle it "in the streets" or press charges and go the "legal" route. and if he jumps stupid then beat him up...if you can

i guess im cut different. i would get more satisfaction handling him myself than letting the police. do you tho, i could never sleep knowing i called the copson some1 for something that can easily be treated on your own. and i do not codone what he did was right.
i dont know what your guys definition of snitching is but to me its "telling someone of authority of some1 doin wrong to face punishment."

I dont understand your definition of snitching and how it would be snitching in this situation. The OP did not go out of his way to put this guyon blast, he didnt have a vendetta against this man. You keep "handlin" your business, till someone flips the script and gets Johnny Law on you. Whatwould you not consider snitching if you may? If the OP had the %%*! kicked outta him, had a famliy member harmed?, or if dude stole his car? Then its okay totalk. If someone robs u period, its better to have the law handle it especially if you have proof.

Think of a way that you can get back at him without pressing charges. If you dont want to handle it yourself just approach this dude and straight tell him thatif he is not giving you back everything plus some more you are pressing charges and its going to be on his record for a long time. You give him a chance tostand up and handle the mess he got into, so he better use that chance well. If he still denies everything just press charges and get some goons to get back athim and let him know he made a mistake. Thats what I would do.
