This IS Jay-Z's best single ever. Period.

So much for "period".

"All I Need" is my favorite. Girls Girls Girls Remix somewhere in there.

AS always IllPhil Love on that info bro. IF WE'RE TALKING ABOUT FAVORITE SONGS FROM HIM THEN I HAVE TO CHANGE MY OPINION. I was speaking on actual singles,if it comes down to 1 song in his catalog it would be Where I'm From. I've said it countless times on here that that is his best song hands down, withAllure coming in a distant 2nd.

Son held it down for like 10 summers straight and he ain't done yet. He provided the soundtrack to most of our lives. Even cats that don't like thedude, have 1 or 2 personal favorites from homie.
He may not be the best MC ever lyrically but he is certainly the most dominant ever to go into the recordin booth, hands down.
Guess it true what he said about success....

"I Just Wanna Love You" is his best single, IMO. I don't think Hov has hit a home run with a single since then.*

*Yes, I know he's had good singles and made songs that are of a greater caliber musically, but I have not heard a single that had me dying for the albumsince ...

my personal favorite... can't knock the hustle...

the one i know for sure gets everything poppin' and hype...

big pimipin' ... easily.

Those are actually like two of Jay's most mediocre singles and one of his worst singles ever.

As far as for commercial, it's gotta be Hard Knock Life. But my personal favorites are In My Lifetime (Remix) & Dead Presidents.
