What up niketalk. Got a question/situation for ya n want ur thoughts/comments/advice. Got on good ol' Facebook yesterday and saw a groupthat was created called KnC Kicks. I don't know these two guys but all it is is a group started to see who would show interest in buyin fakes/variant Jsfrom these two. They even say what they're doin.
Heres what the group message reads:
"Me and Kevin K are creating this group to see how much interest there is in buying factory variant/ fakes, including Air Jordans (1-23), Bapes, Air Force 1's, and Nike Dunks. I would not advice you to play basketball in the Jordans because their quality is not the same as reals but they are good casual shoes. These shoes are brand new. If there is enough interest, we will start selling them. Final prices are not set yet but prices will be around $65 a pair. This is much lower than prices you will find on the internet. Final details are still being determined. This is just a way to buy shoes for half the price of reals.

If you are SERIOUS about buying shoes, please post what brand, color, and size and we will get back to you very soon. Only post if you are serious. Thank you. Pictures coming soon......

They have little freak'n high schoolers hittin um back wantin Js anywhere from the 1s - 23s. Needless to say I was pissed n joined thegroup only to burn him on his own group wall. After tellin him off and how stupid he is as well as callin him out on braggin about all his Js, his facebookpage is full of "check out my collection" pics and the kid even has a Jumpman tattoo. Heres what he wrote back to me saying:
"well some of us dont have hundreds of dollars just for shoes and some of our families are not rich...i dont think u need fo start saying *%$$ to me on the wall...i wear them as casuals and i am a jordan collector...i just wear the fakes as casuals so i dont wreck the real ones...sorry if that bothers u...u can tell me your opinion in a different way as well....i dont brag...i dont need to...."
Basically wonderin what your input is or what your reaction would be? If anything, just needed to vent at the situation to people that would feelthe same as I do.

Lol! Never heard a Jordan collecter buying fakes to keep his collection DS.
 
My input would be ,fakes are fakes ,if ppl were to support fakes ,
than in turn that makes them fake ,and looked down upon by true sneakerheads such as myself .......

I heard ppl say they come from the same manufactures, that maybe so ,that much idk, but I do know for sure ,if you think the quality of authentic J's isbad , you'd for sure hate some variants ,cause there quality is terrible ,Ive seen dudes with fakes that they just got 2 or 3 days prior to me seing them,with cracks, and rubber coming loose from the pleather, I even seen this kid who I was hoopin with, go up for a rebound and the sole of his shoe was still onthe ground, well him and the remaining part of the fake J. was up in the air , he had just bought them the day before ......

So slacking with the funds ,and trying to bargain shop by buying fakes, will only cost you more in the long run ,, cause for the price you pay for a officialpair of J's,, youll pay triple that amount for fakes cause they just aint built good at all.......

Real sneaker-heads are a rare breed. We're the minority. The majority is people who just want to look good at any cost. I'm guessing that you don'tlive near any hood, case we see this everyday, every youngster, every corner store and every grimey hood cat has a pair of low quality wacky sneakers (not thatmuch worst than what JB gives us). I don't see how you never knew that fakes have a huge following.

yeah i know fakes are always around and always will be n every kid now a days are rockin um, but never seein anyone use facebook as a source to start sellinum. ur right though, not from any hood. Actually live in SD but been a J fan and collector for years. I agree with you though, real sneaker-heads, we are theminority, and this is obviously a fake topic but threw it on here just to vent n get reactions. I just hate stupid fake #$@ high school kids that rock thefakes and do it only for the looks n yet call themselves true jordan fans or sneaker-heads. Take pics of their collection and reppin all their js tellin peoplehow sweet their collection is. Was just ventin....
 
Pretty stupid. You cant truly be a fan of the brand if you buy fakes and dont support them.
 
i think thats stupid a real sneakerhead will never have a fake pair of jordans and i understand the thing about not everyone is rich so i say do what i did geta job i have bought all my shoes i have spent alto of money but i earned that money
 
You don't have any authority to close the group, or sue this guy. Question is: Why bother?
One thing you can do is ignore the group and move on. That's exactly what I do when I see "What's your favorite Jordan shoes" thread.
 
i've heard of this before rockin fakes just to keep the real DS, but i guess since i aint got the money for it i just rather rock the real...and i would doi laugh my *** off at these kids buying the fakes cuz i love clowning fake j's personally lol

in the end he will look down in his feet and can't really feel like us wen we look down to see our real pair of jordans u feel proud. In tha other hand wenhe will be looking down to dem fakes he could never feel the same way.
 
Yo I hate this stuff too, this kid at school has black based 7s with baby blue stitching and a rainbow sole the whole way around and the triangular parts thatstick up are red, blue, yellow and green and it has 77 stitched where the jumpman should be, but he insists that theyre "super rare samples" andthere are obly about 100 in existence.. Its such BS and I hate when ppl with fakes refuse to admit it!

In Oakland, Richmond, The City and P-world fakes are everyday life. If they hurt your eyes you must be blind by now, or you must've moved outof the Bay Area.
