They are re-releasing this april. Via Footlocker:

Almost a decade after it originally launched, the Shox BB4 returns in 2009. The shoe that made the sound "boing"cool is a great retro release [color= rgb(153, 0, 0)]exclusive to House of Hoops[/color]. If only Nike decided to bring back the Vince Carter vs.Gary Payton commercials, the release would be complete. This shoe firmly established Shox as footwear technology to stay, and helped lift Vince Carter and theUSA Men's basketball team to an Olympic gold medal over France. The victory was punctuated by a monster dunk by VC over Frederic Weis, France's 7-2center. BOING!

i think this shoe has a lot more history than most of the shoes that come out at HOH, mainly VC dunking on that 7'2 guy in the olympics
 
Definitely not worthy of being an HOH exclusive

My fave colorway in this shoe tho. Being from Toronto when Vince Carter was playing for the Raps we got every colorway of the shoe here. Good times.
 
it legitimized vince alright,i dunno about the shoes.something tells me vince could have still posterized that dude wearing tube socks.

it was a toss up for me between this cw and the wht/red ones back in the day.i ended up going with the later from woodburry commons.i'm happy i have a shotat picking these babies up now.
 
i love this shoe but im not going to pay the ridiculous price that hoh will want for them.
 
VC could jump over anyone with any shoes. I still think the shox in these are very stiff and the ankle support is weak
 
Ill pay an arm and a leg and an eyeball for these. Hands down the best basketball shoe I ever played in. Wore mine till I had holes on the bottom of everyshock.
