Ehh... that wasnt the first time somebody turned a track down that featured Hov... I read before that Nas turneddown "Young G's" because he thought every verse on the track was bad... It's mostly opinionated, dont know why people are gettind riled up...

But I do appreciate how the Dips handled themselves while they were wit the Roc, then branched off and did they own issh... and I always wondered why theyweren't invited to Roc the Mic tour or on Showtime wit the entire Rocafella roster...

Cam really blew up because of the Rocafella co-sign, which basically is Jay's co-sign.

Dog....They had BABY on the Remix, nuff said. If he had a "wack" verse or not, thats not why they took Jay off the song, theybasically admitted it in the video.

It was basically, "oh, you wanna f' with us now that we got the #1 song out, we dont want you on our **** now", which I can definitely respect(you know that was the first time that happened to dude on his own damn label, dude had to have the

I swear I'll never forget walking past Dipset in the parking lot on the Sprite Tour, guess that was roc the mic, the same concert where they gave Kanye thechain. These %%#*%% posted up outside while the entire Roc was backstage, meaning, these dudes were posted before the concert was over, probably listening theH to the izzo from the outside, cussin Jay out.

It's not, but I doubt that was the reason for the deletion. The dips' feelings were hurt. If everything was good, they'd simply ask for another verse because having that Jay co-sign was a great look for the Cam and ultimately the Roc. Deleting the verse benefits no one. I believe it was a chess move between two huge egos, just like Cam going public with the vice president thing. Jay on vacation while Cam promoting.

Yall got a point... The thing I will never understand, well its kinda obvious to me, is why Jay agreed to do the Welcome To NY song but thenfronts on doin the video.

Its almost like some straight salty female #!+% where he saw how big Oh Boy was and he said "Im not making Cam any hotter than he is right now"

I'm in no way trying to say Cam was on Jay's level as an artist. I'm saying that at that time Cam was as hot as any one in the game.
 
Basically it was a clash of personalities. How would you feel if your business partner hired some dude that is flashy, wears pink, loud and always runs deep.Jay to laid back for that stuff man. 1. Kanye wasnt a priority for Jay either remember it was Dames project at first
2. Kanye was vice president or given his own company while Jay was gone
3. Kanye's album didnt even come out til after the walls started coming down at the Roc
4. When Hov decided that Kanye would be a major artist he grabbed Kanye. Ye knew that Def Jam was the place to be even Juelz knew that.

Dame was wrong for doing business behind his partners back especially

Look at what you got when the smoke clears Dame not creating another successful record label. While Jay moves on and signs a plethora of hit making star powerat Def Jam.

I hear ya, I was just saying everytime Jim Jones gives an interview he always mentions Jay. It's time for him and others in Dipset to move and talk aboutsomething else, I know them being with the Roc was the highlight of their career but if that's all they can talk about that should tell you something aboutthem, meaning that they basically wasn't nothing before joining the Roc and will remain as such well after the fact.
