They were with Sony got dropped, just wondering? The roster outside of Cudi, Com, John Legend is weak I'm guessing?

You don't rock with Big Sean?

G.O.O.D. could be real successful with the right home, Ye' is one of the few artists that actually put other people on.

I personally like the roster for the most part but I can see how labels look at it.

yo real talk, nobody has put on more N's out the Midwest than Kanye...he dont get enough props for that. His whole roster is full of midwest dudes for themost part...

word yo, now most of what i listen to is midwest rappers

Yeah he puts em on but I don't think that he's really trying his hardest to get another distribution deal

I feel he ain't tryna give any of em a chance to get as much shine as him but once in awhile makes moves to not be accused of doing that
i.e. giving GLC these recent tracks

Other than Ye', Legend, Cudi, Com, I think the only person that WILL do well commercially will be Mr. Hudson.

Dude has major crossover appeal, and dudes first album is really really good, and underrated.

I'm such a huge fan of Cons, GLC, Bentley, and Big Sean, but I don't think they can reach global status.

And wth happened to Rhymefest??? Wasn't dude on the G.O.O.D. roster?

Edit: I'll probably catch some flack for this but, I really think Drake would fit well with the this roster, dude is way too open minded to be hangin withthe Young Money crew. But I know
Wayne is his fam now but, I personally would prefer him with the G.O.O.D. family.

Naw, that's what they're expecting. Drake got that opposites attract thing goin' on. No one can really label dude a hipster/backpackerwhat have you while he's signed on Young Money.

cuz they know they will get dropped again wherever they go. if this was back in the day they'd be good.

QFT me & my peeps Were talking about how GOOD Music would be a perfect fit for Drake. But Kanye isn't going to sign anybody better then him. I agreeDrake is too dope to be hanging out with those garbage YM artists

i'm kinda suprised to hear cats saying that Kanye's basically sabotaging ppl's careers in this thread. It seems to me that if you have an artistthat is potentially better than you then you would push them so you could make even MORE money. That's basically what Wayne wants to do with Drake. If youlook at it, Drake has proven that Wayne isn't as far ahead of everyone as we once thought. He's also proven that he can do alot of things that Waynecan't artistically, so it's obvious that he signed Drake in order to get done what he couldn't get done himself. Drake is gonna basically bemarketed as Wayne's partner-in-balling who's way more sophisticated and artistic but doesn't sell cocaine since he's got all that Degrassimoney.

I'm saying...why does everyone think this?

Wayne a lame for referring to Drake as "his artist". He was gonna blow up regardless of wheter he met Wayne or not... with Wayne it just happenedquicker. When he finally hits mainstream all of Wayne's interviews are gonna be talking about how he "discovered him"

What are you talking about? Drake is a way better lyricist than Kanye.
He did though.

When you "discover" someone, they had to have had no buzz at all. Drake been had a buzz before Wayne...and he had labels approach him before withdeals. He was hardly "undiscovered".

I like drake with wayne its just something about their music that just meshes well together, i would have loved to hear drake on some older kanye stuff nowthat would have been

^ yeah drake and wayne call and respond nicely off each other

if you dont have grammy potential you're just not G.O.O.D. material...dude needs to find some acoustic folksy singer or somethin.
