I guess you can call this an appreciation thread.
I'm going to be making threads about random albums in the future, I guess this is the first one. Anyway...

20. Ackrite feat. Hittman
21. Bang Bang feat. Hittman and Knoc-turn'al
22. The Message feat. Mary J. Blige and Rell
(Bolded tracks mean skits, intros, and things of that nature).
Honestly, I'm the only one that I know who prefers this album to 1992's "The Chronic". Obviously the Chronic is a much more influential albumthan 2001, but I feel overall 2001 is better overall. I prefer D.O.C.'s "No one Can do it Better" over the Chronic and Doggystyle. Don't getit wrong tho, I love those 2 albums
There's a reason cats are still looking out for the Detox.
It was going to be hard to follow-up The Chronic, but Dre did it and he didn't disappoint.
I feel that this is one of the(if not the)best produced hip-hop albums of all time.
The guest appearances, the production, just an amazing album.
The only gripe I have about this album is that it's a little too long.
A true West-Coast classic.
Standout Tracks:
XXplosive
The Next Episode
Still D.R.E.
