this stuff is so damn stupid. Im trying to prove that god doesnt exist through the cosmological argument in 4 pages!!!!! 4 PAGES!
 
Argument against the argument from contingency

A logical objection to the argument from contingency is that the argument makes a logical fallacy called Non-sequitur since it makes a false conclusion that"since it is possible for such things not to exist, there must be some time at which these things did not in fact exist". It is a false conclusionbecause from the (merely logical) contingency of anything it does not logically follow that there must be some time at which - the merely logically (notempirically) contingent - things, like for example matter, in fact did not exist (in order to prove that matter did need to have a cause outside itself).

I know exactly what you mean, philosophy is way too "out of the box".

Everyday, the question of "What the hell are you talking about" comes up in my mind.

ey man, I would love to have that paper, i just wrote a 9 page paper on the concept of "nothing" the last week. Trust me, there's alwayssomething worse to be writing about in philosophy.

Do you have to write based on a certain philosophers ontology or your own original work?

You just admitted that you don't know what true writing is.

4 pages is not nothing. 4 pages of pure drivel is easy.

4 pages of actual clear concise proper writing isn't and shouldn't be easy. Professors limit the pages on purpose. They know people can fill up a paperfull of #(#*. They want people to prove their argument without going off on pointless tangents.
