I'm not saying that I think it's right but the kid is 16 years old. Old enough to make a decision on his own and it doesn't seem that he was forcedto do oral sex though the shoes did persuade him.

I'd smack my son till there was no tomorrow. Prostitution is no no in my book even if he was 100% okay with it. The same applies for the girls.

At 16 though he knows what he's doing. Yeah without parents he may be misguided, but I think by 16 years old in any environment you should know what isright and what is wrong. My brother is 16 and he's smart enough to make that kind of decision for himself. Whether he does or doesn't do it is up tohim, and my opinion of him won't change that decision. I'm not gonna smack him, or harrass him because he chose that for himself. The only negativeeffect I while feel is that I'm grossed out. If my child did it, then it will be my failure as a parent to teach him what is right and what is wrong.There's always a sick *$*# out there, nothing will change that. Yes it's gross, and all we're gonna do is joke, or make the jokers feel guilty. Butthe fact is, we all make sacrifices for things we want and there is a threshold on how much sacrifice we will make. This kid wanted some sneakers, and waswilling to sacrifice that much for them. Now he has a court case and can probably sue this old guy out of his nursing home money. He can also sue his caretakerfor everything he's got. So not only does he have his pair of Air Jordan's which I'm HOPING is a pair of infrared vi's, but now he's gonnahave enough money to blow 90% of us away on sneaker showcase. Still funny and sick? It's still both.
