WallyHopp has it right. Do they make them "off" on purpose? As a nod to the collectors so they can me distinguished from OGs?

I was pretty upset with the 2004 Air Trainer Max releases where some of the colors were just off enough to be annoying.

Is this like the the in tern's job to source the colors and material and the just take a quick guess based off of one picture?

Or is it deliberate? Seems so in the case of the logo removal ont the ATC IIIs...

And I''l through a vote in that they don't get the lava right. I like it an all, but the colorway does look dated, so I suspect they'll update it, like the yellow on the ATC III.

also, dont forget: OGs were HIGH QUALITY SHOES...if you examine a pair of OGs you will observe how carefully these shoes were "assembled"....

its like comparing the OG ATC III with the retro III....WOW major difference in finishing of these shoes as well as materials used....

but lets wait and see

if that pic above is what is realeasing, then i'll pass....the pink splatter is one of the features of that shoe and without it, it;s pretty much nothing. it's like Infrared 90's without the infrared accent.
...no really.
