Post Your Motorcycle

Dude didn't die.

But as riders I think we gotta be able to call each other out on our nonsense. This guy stopped at an unsafe distance infront of an SUV. Who among us in the thread could say that was a smart move?

IMO, I can't side with the bikers. They were in mob mode where they own the roads. Dude was coasting along with his family while they took up all lanes of the highway. He probably panicked when he bumped into the dude's rear tire. Then dude probably realized the gravity of the situation where he was surrounded by dozens of motorcycles, engines revving, and one of the front runners hopping off the bike to walk up on him and his family...

I have love for anyone that rides. Sports bikes, cruisers, choppers, hogs, dirt bikes, mopeds not so much ( )... But I just can't side with dudes that ride like this. It shows a lack of respect for the road IMO.

exactly (except for the moped thing, if you're on 2; respect!)...

i been reading some of the reports, none really mention what happens to the riders that were hit? how is the rider? is he going to be good?

i wondering what the driver really could have done differently? the rider brake checks him, the driver in the range doesn't react quickly enough & hits the rider, at which point the driver does actually stop the range but it looks like the mob mentality kicked in...

Still stock.... Smh.
Tryna put the sprockets n chain on tomorrow for the wknd rides.
Been mostly hittin the twisties tho (riding my GsxR)
But I have been takin the f4 easy out to yank in a few city rides (hard af to get up with stock sprockets :/ ). I came to realize what the saggy tail syndrome is about with the f4i's  n the forks have way too much play vs my gxsr.
I just need to get out there as much as possible 2/3 days a wk ain't cuttin it.

^I think my boy has one, never heard him complain about it. Any shoei is worth it I'd say.

Pic I took from a ride with some friends the other day.

Edit:So apparently the driver of the range rover in the hbp incident is the nephew of a high ranking nypd officer and that's why they've been stopping more groups of bikes in NY.

Nice! how's the ride?
The ride is really smooth, definitely enough power for me since I just use it around town and up Whistler/Cypress.

It sucks that it's going to into storage very soon since the temperatures have been significantly dropping.

What you mean? If a cop sees four or more together, they can pull you all over??? **** makes no sense.

What kind of crap is that??  Between this, the ban on large sodas and stop and frisk you can't do anything in NYC.

Yea man, I think the cbr600 or the gsxr600 would be my next bike. I don't see myself needing any more power than that. And temps here in Alberta are all over the place, one day it's 15 degrees then next it's below zero haha. So I might need to get the bike ready for storage, maybe 1 more ride to get all the gas out.

A picture from last weekend. Weather's getting a bit chilly, but I wanna get in as many miles as I can before putting the bike away.

Some pics I snapped last night down town Atlanta.

Found this parking garage right next to Phillips arena that had a good view of the Atlanta skyline. :pimp:

What bike do you have currently? I looked at the GSXR600 prior to purchasing the CBR but I found the GSXR to be quite a bit wider/larger physically.

And I agree with the weather being all over the place, after I took off insurance on friday we've had 5 straight days of sunshine.

As for winterizing, I thought it was better to fill up the tank with gas up to 90%, add fuel stabilizer and then go for a 10-15min ride to let the stabilizer mix before storing.

Bike won't start....i think its the battery....need to buy a battery tender before i put her away for the winter

I took the motorcycle safety course 2 weeks back and I passed.. I fell off the second day of the course but it was our first day riding.. I have a permanent mark on my ribs now but its all good though. Im surprised they didn't kick me out because the rules say if u drop the bike you're out. I guess they cut me some slack being that it was the first exercise, and I was glad too.. I thought I was done NT.. I'll get my L's on my vacation, now Im just saving up for my bike.. I plan on coppin in April or May of next year..
